In the early days of IT revolution, he started his career at Integra in Sales. Over the years he worked at Infosys and HCL Technologies handling roles and assignments in the Indian and various global markets.

Rakesh returned to motorcycling after raising a family for 20 plus years and rode a Harley Street 750 for a few years. He has owned a Versys 650 and now an Interceptor 650, which in his words is one of the motorcycles that has captured the imagination of Indian consumers and sure to sell in large numbers.

He has also owned a Yezdi D250 Classic, Yezdi Oilking, Yezdi Roadking, BSA Bond and a Honda Sleek during his formative years in college and at work.

Rakesh is directly responsible for Sales, Marketing and Strategy of the organisation, while he also dabbles in design and manufacturing of various niche products for motorcycling needs that are not addressed by leading vendors in India.

His love for motorcycling began early with his father’s 1975 Enfield Bullet 350 and FZ16 in his early days. He started riding as a hobby when he bought the Harley Davidson Street 750 and gives credit to this bike for introducing him to the super bike world and its market potential, for him to become a part of this business. He has now picked up the BMW F850GS and hopes to start riding more actively again.

An avid rider and has clocked over 50K plus kms on his Street 750 alone, despite a busy corporate life in the last few years and now at Bikenbiker.

Even though he just got the F850GS, the bike on the top of his wish-list is a Honda Africa Twin, which in his opinion is one of the best bikes in the market today for its versatility, ease of ownership and performance across all parameters.

Arjun as COO at Bikenbiker heads Finance, Procurement, Logistics, Website/Aggregation management and Principle vendor partner relationships.

KG received his B.A. LL.B from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore, an LL.M from the New York University School of Law, New York, and an Advanced Professional Certificate in Graduate Business Education from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University, New York.

KG’s motorcycling journey truly began with a TVS 50 XL in 1992. He traded up to a Kawasaki KB 100 in 1994. After a hiatus from owning a bike between 1996 and 2014, Kartik acquired a Harley Davidson Sportster Iron 883.  Fondly named Valentina, the Iron 883, was his companion of choice for many thousands of kilometres. KG is one of the Founders of the Legendary Legion of Bikers (The LLB), a riding group in Bangalore that started in 2014.  KG upgraded to a Harley Davidson FatBoy, which he calls March.  March accompanies him on his rides now, and was the machine on which he completed the Harley Big 5 challenge in 2017.

Areeb Alam - Marketing Head

Areeb Alam, one of the young guns of the BnB team, is a Consultant at a reputed MNC. He came to Bangalore to pursue his MBA in 2014 and has been here since then. He thinks that the lovely weather and quick getaway destinations make this city a paradise for bikers.

His two-wheeled journey started back in 2005 when he was handed down his elder sister’s TVS Scooty ES which he used to potter around the city up north. His first bike, Bajaj Pulsar 200, came in 2007 bringing a lot of life lessons when he crashed face first into an oncoming vehicle. Nothing like breaking some bones to put things in perspective.
He then gradually upgraded to a Bajaj Pulsar 220, KTM Duke 390, Kawasaki ER6n, Triumph Street Triple RS, and now to a 2020 BMW S1000RR M Sport.
His idea of owning a motorcycle is to do things that others don’t, like touring or commuting to work on a supersport. Often can be seen stuck at Silk Board in Bangalore traffic or doing interstate travels on his motorcycle. He has ridden close to 80,000 kms from 2016 to 2020 alongside a 9-5 work routine.

Areeb heads marketing at Bikenbiker.
